Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems MAJOR game-breaking bug discovered!

This needs to be seen immediately, so I am posting it on the high-traffic section of the forum in hopes a moderator sees it and reports it to the devs.

Glowing Idol of Rebirth, if kept in a backpack, will still resurrect your character in battle to full health upon death, however, IT STAYS AS "GLOWING" in the backpack and ALSO creates a DUPLICATE ASHEN Idol that gets transferred to your inventory. This can be done perpetually, and the duplicate(s) can also be re-charged and added to another character's backpack, effectively making your entire party immortal for the entire game and unable to die. They'll just continue to get resurrected to full health and more duplicate Ashen Idols will be created.

Game-breaking to the MAX.

Game-breaking means you are literally unable to continue or to progress. This is just a major bug.

For the same reason Alexandar wears a Source Collar.

Besides, the game is no fun when you know you can just let your entire party die over and over again and cheese your way through the game.

I think they fixed it in today's patch. I had JUST got to the Spider's Kiss quest and tested it and it didn't stay flamed or duplicate.

That's just a bug, a game breaking bug would be when Pasho/Tasho attacks me and the game *crashes* over and over again. I've tried to run off and attack them, game crashes, I've tried switching characters to take the hit, still crash. I have no idea why this is even happening, makes no sense, could be something with the guardian angel buff they have.

Yeah, I found it as well, but didn't know they could be recharged. How? Blessing?
