Yeah I hate this battle source puppet bs. It doesn't help that if you one shot them (which my wizard did constantly) you pretty much get punished for that. They should at least have a resist death with 1 hp ability since you're supposed to source devour them. Feels like I'm being punished for my PC being built correctly.
