Hello, I've been making a forest level, and as much as I try I can't select any trees or rocks, only by dragging a square and multiselecting, can't select a single item. After they are selected I click on the translate tool but the option to move them doesn't appear. When I try to click the rotate tool, the editor just crashes and I lose everything. The map I was making was based on a loaded map from the GM mode, if that helps, but it also happens on the items I add individually. It's impossible to do anything like this, what have I done wrong? Thanks a lot.

Hi there FranTheJam,
Could you perhaps share a screenshot so we can see what is going on?
Do note that if you placed "objects" using the Instance Painter, you will be unable to select them because instances do not have physics.
Also, the translate and rotate object gizmos show up at the center of your selection. If you have multiple objects selected, try zooming out or rotating your camera to make sure it is not simply outside your viewport.

As you can see, I had to multiple select several items because I can't single select them. The translate mode is on and yet I can't move them, and strangely I can't go back to the select mode no matter what I do. Now if I click Rotate mode it will crash and close. This is from the Crossroad Forest map from the GM maps. When I include an item I pick it from the Root Templates and drag it to the level, I don't paint it and I don't think the level designers painted it either. Thanks for your answer, I hope you know what is going on o_o

I found these errors in the selected items, all the items have these errors, but I don't know where they come from.
Maybe that's because I couldn't access the DLC menu in Properties in Steam? I don't know if that's related, but you said it was needed in the menu, I'll leave a screenshot here

The editor data DLC is indeed required for the editor to work correctly. It also contains data for the interaction modes (moving and rotating objects). There is a known issue with the DLC tab not showing up on your game properties, but there was a workaround posted here: http://larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=612889#Post612889
