I find it a bit unfair to put the blame on Ellezard and calling him/her exploiter. What I read from him/her sounds reasonable, explains his/her style of play and backs his/her points. It's also nice that he/she stays away from stark language and personal arguments so common in such discussions.
However, from what I read I don't like even this way to deal with game difficulty. If it is a necessary manner to live with Tactician by Larian's design, and from what TsunAmik said I don't doubt it, I'm really glad I rerolled on Classic in Act 1.
