I'm probably not as far as you, as I was only in Driftwood and did not meet most guys you mentioned.

But, for the main quest in Driftwood, which I guess is getting you to Divinity, you have to find some masters of the source, hints you get in the Magisters office, maybe there you like to visit prison dungeons, too.

Whom do you mean with "sorcerer the town is looking for"? It's not Mordus, isn't it? He seems to be away from the town in a cave near the coast. Was not there till now.

Where did you get the item construction quest from Tarquin? On the Lady Vengeance? Then I missed it, I did not speak to him before leaving the ship.
