Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 - The Modding Dungeon Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Modding General Floating Objects in Divinity Engine 2?

Anybody else having this problem? I place an object, and most of the time, it's floating several feet above the terrain. Sadly, I don't know how to fix this. Help? =(

I would rather not have to move every single object to the terrain after placing it. It should just snap to it, right?

If you right click on the + sign place tool there's a snap to floor option. It has some odd behavior though so I try to avoid using it.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Another useful shortcut is ctrl+right-click while the place/move tool is active. That will always place it on top of the phyisics of whatever you click on.
