You could try checking a few things to try and narrow down the problem:
- Does clicking the tiny save button in the root template manager make a difference?
- Do you have any duplicate root templates in your folders? For example, some backups you made. Apparently the editor may try to load those.
- Try rename your root template files' extension from lsf to xml, and check if the root templates show up in your project after exiting the editor (good way to check if duplicate files may exist somewhere).
