I am doing Clasic as I lack the time to mess around with Tactician and other hard core stuff.
In the end I went with Fane as a Shadowblade, Sebile as a cleric (wand and shield with a mace in the backpack in case I need to go physical) and Ifan as a ranger (because he has plot armor and gains Pet Pal for free whenever you get a preset that does not have pet pal included)
The plan is to level up Ifan's Int in tandem with his Finese so I can restore him to his Wayfarer status - but with the free pet talent. With Sebile I want to have high Hydro and Geo ratings but am considering 2 points in Poly for Bull Rush which still works with wand and shield (but unlike the beta the damage is converted to physical which sucks) and maybe get the Wings and the Heart of Steel. Am also hopeing that Consume Corpse and Living Armour will not turn up to be an epic fail.
My battlemage (should have mentioned at the start that this is a custom human char) started out with Poly over Pyro because Bull Rush and Chameleon Cloak are more important than the pyro starter spells which I can always steal from Stingtail.
I am not sure how to level up Fane though....I am unsure if I should go Warfare route and have him dual wield a dagger and a str based weapon or if I should start pumping into either summoning or scoundrel.
