i have been messing around with the gm mode, and i found i could not create characters, only modify premade characters, im trying to make the red prince and guards, but none of the lizard models use heavy armor, the best i could find is the civilian and he seems to only use cloth, and i can't equip new armor on him and have it appear, please let us create characters from scratch, like we do in the single player when creating a character instead of playing one of the origin characters

A good solution to this would be a base model of a male and female of every race somewhere in the Humanoids tab. The model would come with no preordained clothing set, just underwear, so you can spawn the armor you want them to wear. These models appearance options in the character sheet would contain all options available to their race/sex, just like in single player character creation.

I have found that if you take any character/creature from the available selection and apply the Human/Lizard/Dwarf/Elf form condition to them permanently (-1 turn duration), save them, then pull out the saved copy from the export section, they will be a underwear clad base model of that race. You can edit them to the extent of the single player character creator and equip armor that will show on them. Unfortunately, they are also bugged as invincible (with the exception of the torure assets for some reason), so you'd have to manually keep track of their health.

exactly give me a base model of female and males of each race and let me give them armor and customize them to my liking, i want to make a campaign set years after you ascend and the war with the voidwoken is still in effect, and the divine sends you to the red prince to hunt black ring, but i can't do that with the limited options at my disposal.

I think my mod has more lizard models to choose from. It has everything from the main campaign. Might help.

GMAddon1: Adds almost every single monster and NPC from the main campaign into GM mode, plus a few large custom maps to use in GM mode.

+1, i said just this in another thread. We need blank, fully customizable NPC's templates.

Shapeshifter777 I get that you're excited that you made a thing, but I've seen you slinging this mod on a ton of posts. a mod is not a solution, it is extra optional content. It should not be responsible for filling in needed content. Please stop trying to do the dev's job for them, or they'll let you. I have much respect for modders and the work they do, but if it was of a quality to match the games quality they would not be modders, they would work professionally as designers.

Super rude, the void needs to be filled while the devs are busy at work. Having someone make their mod widely known helps the community in the meantime.

I've seen stuff put out by modders over the years that was better than what the "designers" put out. I dont play it but isn't one of the most popular games rigyt now one that was done by a kidder turned designer?

Yes some people who dont know what they are doing can put out garbage but at least they're trying. I wouldn't discredit the ability of modders in general especially since some of the things some people want to do are going to require their help.

Edit: keep up the good work Shapes.

I am not saying that modders are bad, boo modders. I am saying that modders should not address issues that the dev's should out of responsibility to their consumers. Basic business practice is to let people who are willing to do the work for free/cheap do it. Larian would never leave bad content in the main game up to the community to fix, but GM mode is not what everyone got on the boat for, and may have been a bigger endeavor than they thought. However, they started it, so it is only fair that they finish it. If the community offers to do it for them for free, Larian will probably let them and not do anything/as much themselves, even if this means a (probable, yes I know about modders who do so good that they get hired, but you are citing the exceptions not the rule) drop in quality.

To show that I do actually care, Shapeshifer: I downloaded your mod, and it definitely adds some more needed variety. A few criticisms:
1.) There are many models that are already in the base GM mode in your mod, so you may want to cut down on redundancy
2.) it is a rather long category to scroll through, maybe the above would help. If not, you might want to try integrating into the pre-existing categories. If that's not possible, you may want to create several new ones instead, such as, "MOD: Black Ring" and "MOD: Magisters" etc...
3.) I will post this on the workshop page as well. Your mod conflicts with "GMaps - Main Game Maps in Gamemaster Mode" if I try to load any map with both mods on the game CTDs
