Hi everyone,
Could someone please clarify the relationship between the Defence stat and the Armour stat??? I've just been experimenting with a couple of different pieces of armour and the figures just don't seem to add up...
Here's and example - I've got the belt from the Dragon Armour and it has the following mods
Armour 200
+4 Strength
+4 Agility
+4 Inteligence
+4 Defence
+ various resistences...
By equiping this I end up with the following stats: Defence 78 - Armour 414
Another piece that I have is the "Metal Belt" with the following mods
Armour 220
+2 Strength
+2 Defence
+40 Vitality
+2 Sight
When I equip this I end up with: Defence 73 - Armour 415.
Another example is I had two pieces of armour - one had a higher "Armour" rating but the other had a Defence bonus... When I equiped the one with the Defence bonus, the Armour rating went down (as expected), but my Defence stat stayed the same...
Is there a direct relationship between Armour and Defence? What's better - higher Def or higher Armour? Does it really matter in the scheme of things or am I just making a point about nothing... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />
