From an Art direction perspective humans in this game just look all kinds of wrong to me. Currently they look silly just standing there pushing their bellies out, it doesn't look so bad when they're naked but once they put armor on it looks like they all have pot bellies and are incapable of correct posture. All of their armor is bulky and baggy too, making them look fat when equipped with it.
Elves, Lizards and Dwarves look much better in comparison and have way more unique armor styles.
This is what I've gathered as well so far. I use Fane just to test out an armors on each race and humans will nearly always have worst looking version.
