I have 40+ finese and still can't pass the persuasion.
I've even trained a persuasion skill.
Nothing works.

Funny thing is I'm playing with a Lone Wolf perk so my attributes are doubled, does it mean if I would play with Sibelle as my main without LW it will be impossible to complete this part of the quest?

So I've downloaded a trainer and raised my Finses to a possible maximum, with all the bonuses I had ~75 Finese.
And guess what? It still fails the persuasion even with 2 lvl persuasion.
3 lvl Persuasion, however, passes the test.

So, yeah, stats means absolutely nothing when you're dealing with persuasion.

Edit: with persuasion at 3 even the Intelligence persuasion succeds and I have 10 of it.

Seriously, wtf Larian.

Yeah, persuasion is the decisive factor, I think the attribute check is just a little bonus that may tip the scales in your favour... sometimes... rarely... if ever...

Your highest stat is not always the best answer. I had a max persuasion Lohse fail her persuasion checks to get Beast to follow her as the Divine until I picked her lowest stat option, which worked. When I looked at the answer, it seemed to be a better fit with Beast's personality.

Just for a joke, I've made 999 Finese with 0 persuasion.
It fails.

So far 1 persuasion and 15 strength passes the check.
I think either the system is bugged or calculation was set wrong.

The requirements differ based on the answer, this is intended. For stupid/unfitting answers you need much more persuasion, no matter how high your stats are.

Yeah. But then why does Larian consider my Sebille trying to flirt with that rogue in the graveyard crypt a "stupid choice"? My Sebille is seductive as heck. "Two dangerous girls" + exotic location = auto-pass. *grumblemumble*

:P
