Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 - The Modding Dungeon Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Modding Troubleshooting Still getting "Glasses has Stopped Working"

I'm having the same issue where it won't load base.lsb, and there is apparently an issue with windows ten where users can't change the folders from read only to read and write.

I've tried, downloading a program that adds a new registry to take ownership
creating a new user with full permissions to edit folders
creating a copy of the game data folder
copying the contents of the folder into another new folder
running the tool in admin mode
