Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Question about romance with companions

So I saw some videos where the PC can start flirting/talking to the companions on a more affectionate way. Most of the videos I've seen happened at the end of Act 1, at The Lady Vengeance.

My question is: Romance in this game follows what pattern? Is it related to the Attitude system or is it related to how far you have progressed in the main story/companion origin quests?

I was hoping to be able to romance Ifan or the Red Prince, but nothing happened. I'm on Act 2 (just started) and so far the only companion that seemed interested (and having the complete wrong idea because I'm not lol) is Fane. So I'm a little confused. Is it possible that I friendzoned Ifan without even noticing it? LOL

Attitude based and you start to get closer and closer them. The bed scene comes at the end of Act 2.

Just keep doing quests with them and improve their attitudes. Red Prince one is special because his romance comes the latest but also jump the highest once the flame is sparked.

Act 2 is Driftwood and Nameless Isle.

Act 3 is Arx -> Epilogue

any non companion npc's that you can Romance?
