I am struggling to make cohesive interior walls for my buildings. When I try and drag the wall pieces to make individual rooms, I always end up with pieces of wall sticking out of the borders or overlapping wall pieces.

What is the best method for building interior walls for buildings? I need some separate rooms!

Watch this tutorial. I had to refresh my memory on best practices too for similar reasons. Basically, as a rule of thumb, try to make walls meet in the middle rather than at the corners. For interior rooms, you may actually want to make separate cross pieces and then drag them into place rather than trying to build out from an existing wall piece. In any case, it's pretty well covered in that video.

Making walls meet in the middle makes so much sense having tinkered with it so much. I'll check out the video now. Thanks!

I usually do the separate cross pieces if possible as Wind mentioned.

A lot of the "city" walls in 2 are interior only so the opposite side isn't exterior looking, those might work for you.
