Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks Saving People

I've started and restarted a couple of times, but only once was I able to save the people talking to the kid. Every other time it just lowers the life boat and I am off.

I would be most thankful for any help.

If you're talking about the very first attack on the magister boat and during the attack, you have to select the first 2 options that say "i'll go save them".

Then right in front of you a panel on the ship should open up that leads you downstairs to where you wake up before, and then fight and save the other characters.

I must of done something wrong, I picked option 2 letting her know I'd join her. But when I got to the life boat, the only option I had was leave on.

I am sure in the long run it doesn't matter, more annoying then anything else. I tried all 3 choices and still had no option to save the people on the ship.
