Currently they refresh every game hour (actual passed game time that isn't on pause).
Especially with mods that allow more party members and generally the speed at which items become obsolete due to level gain, this simply makes it difficult to properly gear your characters.
A mod that reduces the refresh time would therefore be welcome. It is balanced in that you still end up having to pay for the goods.
