Perhaps it is working as intended, but seems odd to me that it would be so, so I will report it as a bug now.

I was playing as Fane and when offered to make a choice to become godsworn, I was feeling rather nihilistic about all the [s]blatantly evil[/s] grey characters in the game so I thought, let all hell break loose and joined him. I got the curse spell.

However, my Fane was not evil, he was more of an amoral scholar who believed EVERYONE was wrong in their motives.

This meant that when the time came to poison Arx, I decided NOT to fullfill what God-King asked of me.

This in turn caused him to curse me and when I blessed myself using another hero, I would get re-cursed saying that the god king is punishing me. That seemed logical (even if harsh) but oh well, those were my choices, let's see if we can get the scythe.

To cut story short, I do get the scythe (i got both actually) and used it with my hero, I got the Bless spell back, so the Oath was broken, but I didn't get to lift the curse off of me and blessing me would still re-curse me. Bummer, but maybe it is still working as intended?

Since I was a necromancer-summoner, I didn't care so much about my own stats and I proceeded with the game to complete it, I even turned against everyone in the final battle and defeated them all (after losing miserably a bunch of times....)

I saved the game to watch the various endings.

In the ending where I become divine and cast the king away, I am STILL cursed and unable to remove it.

In the ending where I return the Source to the Veil and seal it and get rid of the King for ever, I am STILL cursed and unable to remove it.

I believe that at least at this point I would have been able to remove the curse (even though a cursed Divine sounds rather awesome!! better than the Demon Divine I saw in the other ending videos that I didn't get to experience!)
