the only problem with that is that some of the voidlings (oil and fire ones, iirc) can leap all the way from the ground level to the highest platform from certain angles, so you inevitably end up fighting in necrofire regardless of how well you plan
there's probably a way to do it if you strategize well enough, but my best recommendation would be to just
wait until you've mastered source, get everyone in your party max source so that you have as many bless charges as possible, and don't start using it until the fire voidlings show up. holy fire is a life saver in this fight,
and you don't have to worry about fire voidlings getting it because they're immune to fire anyway
another thing unrelated to the combat that i dislike about this portion is that after the battle all the voidling corpses become transparent so you have to fish around on the ground for their outlines to show up so you can loot them; the primordial ones usually have some good stuff and even the smaller ones have good money fodder sometimes
