OK, so, Larian... what were you THINKING?

Playing OS2 for hours upon hours I couldn't help but feel that there was something missing. Something essential. Something absolutely vital to the game experience, yet... I could not put my finger on it.

This morning, the blessed steam cloud in my shower finally revealed the truth to me:

YOU CHANGED THE OPENING LOGO VIDEO.

How could you.

The 'plop' of the arrow is still there, thankfully, but there no longer is that male voice yelling LAAAARRRIANNNN any more.

I feel so cheated. That final breath before the jump, ruined. My speakers feel bored because they do not live through the excitement of that singular power spike any more, and even my amplifier (usually a pretty quiet guy) has complained about the 'dumbing down of opening credits'.

This game is literally unplayable like this. I want my money back.

This is the funniest post I ever read here. Only a true fan can make a joke post like this one.

I should hope not. I'm genuinely shocked: absolutely shocked and appalled. I think this is a disgrace and not only want a monetary refund but want to be refunded the last two years of my life and to be compensated with a lifetime's supply of cheese.

I tried finding a snippet on youtube when I wrote my original post but unfortunately failed. I have found the "intro.wmv" from Divinity 2 on my harddisk but I don't know where I could upload it, or if that was even allowed (IP etc). =/

Hmm, I did not know this as I did not play the first DOS. Now I want a refund from Larian, and I will sue you, TS, for mental cruelty because you made me aware of the problem.
