Hi,
there are people who ran into an issue with Gareth digging up graves everywhere and being unable to make him return to the ship. I have another issue:
I did a lot of exploring and found Jonathan's Ring before I encountered Gareth. When I did, I encouraged Gareth to kill Jonathan, and when he didn't, I happily did it myself (bastard). Following Gareth's mental breakdown I told him to snap out of it, which he did. He went back to the ship. Achievement earned: 'Set Gareth on a path of retribution.' Great!
However, the quest did not update. I later found the gloves, but whenever I try talking to Gareth (now moping about on the ship) he just goes 'Leave me alone, I have my own demons to fight, I can't face yours too.' I cannot find a way to complete this quest; when I set sail for Arx, Gareth seems much better and he thanks me for the help, but the quest log says 'incomplete/failed'.
Has anybody run into the same issue? Have you managed to solve it?
