I tried following the Larian guide to dialog editing. After trying to follow the described path to the dialogs files, Lohse dialogs, several time only to end up at some dead end, I finally found them.

It seems that the path on the wiki,
Data\Mods\DivinityOrigins_1301db3d-1f54-4e98-9be5-5094030916e4\Story\Dialogs\Tutorial\TUT_LowerDeck_OriginLohse.lsj
, is wrong. It should be
Data\EDITOR\Mods\DivinityOrigins_1301db3d-1f54-4e98-9be5-5094030916e4\Story\Dialogs\Tutorial\TUT_LowerDeck_OriginLohse.lsj

Again I'm a noob at modding so I might be wrong, or did something wrong in the first place....

Hi MAHak,

Sadly, developers don't make mistakes, and the path on the wiki is correct. However, you will need to unpak the game data (for which there is a guide here). Note that (as the wiki page says) dialog modding is currently not possible until the first editor patch arrives.

Thanks for the reply.

Maybe I forgot to mention that I was not interested in modding the core game's dialogs, I was merely interested in looking at them to see how they are structured, mainly to find out how you make NPC's join your party on a dialog end, how to make them hostile on a dialog end and how to have them initiate a dialog on sighting the PC.

By following the path on the wiki I ended up in the dialog folder, where there are no visible dialog files (*.lsj). But by going the other route, when I came to the dialog folder there was plenty of dialog sub-folders with openable dialogs.

Anyway I'll think it's best to wait for the editor patch before continuing to mess around with dialogs.
