Hey guys,
Divine Divinity has some really awesome sprite-based animations; I sometimes think it's a shame that most games just use 3d models these days. Anyway, I know Larian released a few .gifs of animations from the game but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to extract animations from the game data or something to make more gifs. I'd love to be able to make .gifs of some of my characters for example, and doing it from screenshots seems like a very slow, cumbersome way to go about it.

A couple people have asked about extracting graphics before, but I don't know if anyone has put any effort into doing so, or was able to succeed. Something like Dragon UnPACKer or Resource Hacker might help.

I am trying since days now. Haven't had any success so far, the best I got was getting my hands on some... midi files or smth with DragonUnpacker ouch

Update: Neither of these programs work. Holy... what program did they use back then? You mentioned before you may not redistribute it since it is a 3rd party program. But just telling me it's name wouldn't be a problem. think

Unfortunately, I don't know what programs, or file formats, were used for DD.
