Well, Womble, it's NO story, not in my humble decision, I've edited my post above to explain my point of view about story/game. And my view/opinion is not coherent with the majority, that's all. (It was at the beginning of our story)
No hard feelings - but as I said, my Story-Kiya does not fit in there anymore. And I have the right to decide over my char ... and integrating only goes up to a certain point, crossing this: My char looses her life, her blood, her flesh, her personality.
Same goes for a story IMHO, integrating several opinions of how a story is designed only goes up to a certain point: then it bursts - you can't write around everything. This is possible in a game: quests, fighting, level up, items - quests, fighting... I hope, you understand what I'm trying to say? And in a game every race, breed, class can come up - why not put a bit of science fiction in there? No prob for a game - damn prob for a story that had started in a totally different way.
The story burst - changed into a game. If you all would openly accept this and then carry on in game style, all would be fine, coherence is back again then. Kiya
