Same issue with me, basically. I'm getting a complete lockout crash on Win7, with an AMD card (I think it's a 7950 - definitely a 7900-series). CPU is an i7-3770K at 3.5, stock clocked.

Sorry to get anecdotal but I'm still fairly limited when it comes to hardware so hopefully my little story can help the boffins at Larian figure out where the issue may be.

First it happened when I was reloading a save (I was hosting) after one of the two people I was playing with decided he wanted to test some things and roll back, and it gave me a light blue screen, I was able to reset my computer. Next it crashed after successfully loading, while in the connectivity opening the invites so my friends could join, to a grey screen with white bars, I was able to reset. The third time it crashed in the menus while I was experimenting with lowering my graphics and settings, thinking it was maybe some sort of processing issue. It crashed to a grey screen with brown bars, and I had to manually hold the power override to shut down my system.

I've had three more crashes since then experimenting with different things, verifying the game, etc. The only thing I haven't tried is a full re-install because I have Australian internet - it took me over a day to install the game in the first place. All of these crashes were hard lockups (keyboard turned off, unable to ctrl+alt+delete, etc.). We're in Driftwood, but I've already progressed through this area on another save that another friend is the host of, so I don't think it has anything to do with the area itself. The only other thing I can say is that most of our sessions have been very long ones, proper gaming nights, but I'm not getting issues with any other titles, even on long sessions on poorly-optimized games like PUBG. I've not seen any overheating, etc. either. And since I've had crashes in the start menus and on the game initializing load screen I don't think it has anything to do with the saves themselves.

EDIT: Should have also probably mentioned that after the last few crashes the game has disappeared from my Steam list and I've had to run the .exe or start a re-install to get it to pick it up in my system. Steam does that sometimes, but it's happened three times with Divinity, I'm not sure if it's related to the issue or just the fact that the game is crashing.

UPDATE: Just tried it for another 30-45 minutes today after work, and I've noticed that the crashes seem to consistently happen around 3 minutes after initialization of the game, regardless of where I am (in a save, on a menu, at the title screen, during a load). I don't want to fuck with it too much and risk corrupting my save or doing any damage to my system (seems like all the power cycling is probably bad, right?) but hopefully this issue can be resolved soon since we've all been really addicted to the experience so far and are desperate to continue playing. Honestly I have no idea what the problem could be, I've never experienced anything like this with a game before, barring the very rare and random occurrence of a lockup crash.
