Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems [Bug] Bugged Npc-Arran the Raucous One

Pretty much as the subject describes, Arran the Raucous One is bugged. When attempting to initiate dialogue the box appears for a split second and then the dialogue is canceled. This leaves him essentially impossible to interact with locking out his shop and quest line. This occurred after completion of the Driftwood Arena and while I was playing in the Black Pits. Now all save files are affected and cannot interact with him either before the Arena or After. Anywho just would like to bring this to Larian Studios attention hopefully it gets fixed soon. Unfortunately for me this takes from the games experience so I shall wait until there is a fix.

I also have the same issue!
Strangely enough, this happened after the arena battle and only if I control more than 2 characters.

If a friend joins and takes some characters off me, Arran will happily sell me his wares.

However if controlling all 4 his conversation will end before it has begun.

Not even frantic clicking at the trade button as it shortly appears opens the trade window.

Even weirder, when I offloaded characters to a friend and he left a bit later, there was a "ghost player" in control of these characters. I could only reclaim 2 characters, and the ghost player kept 1. Saving in this state creaated a corrupted savefile. Luckily I had a backup!
