I -might- have found a solution guys... I am still testing it and so far when I walk around Driftwood I am not getting caught anymore.
Basically what I tried is giving in, let them arrest me and go to jail. Then just break-out, get all my stuff and leave the Jinn Necklace in the jail-storage. I -might- be able to take the necklace but f*ck that... after all this misery I don't want to be 500m near it.
