I think Fane is so cool. Seriously, maybe my favorite character. Red Prince and Lohse almost got a win there, but nope. Has to be Fane.

That being said, Fane is difficult to use for one particular problem- Necrofire. So many enemies have necrofire, it becomes an expectation. Fire spells are commonplace, and so is "curse", or dying voidwoken in general.

For normal people, it isn't a problem. Just heal through the fire, replenish magic armor, and try your best to escape when possible. If you're undead, though, healing becomes not an option.

This game treats being poisoned the same as a poison surface. So say I ingested a poisonous drink, I am as explosive as a poison floor. As a result, to heal an undead during necrofire, you have to bless the fire, put out the fire, heal, and then probably explode the next turn because the enemies have access to fire damage, so you also have to waste some AP pre-emptively adding magic armor for your inevitable explosion.

Is there a way you could seperate the poisoned status from a poison surface?

Or you can stack fire resists to 100%+ and then you'll heal from fire damage.:D
