Hi everyone,

i got a serious problem with loading different types of savegames.

In act I i had randmoly crashes during loading any kind of savegames. Quiksaves, autosaves and manuel saves. Some savegames i created could not be loaded anymore. The system always crashed during loadingscreen. Sometimes it helped to try it 4 - 6 times again. Then it worked. But some savegames couldnt been loaded after all. So i had to load an older one and play the content again. Most of the time that worked.

Currently i am in Driftwood act II and the savegame problems are getting bigger and bigger. Savegames that worked fine suddenly stopped working after loading it for example for the third time. The crash during loading screen appears again and again. Now i only can load really old act I savegames. All of my act II saves that had worked yesterday cant be loaded anymore.

I noticed that quiksave loading time during act II has increased by 5 seconds and the savegame size is now by 12 mb. I Dont know if this is an important information.

In Divinity Original Sin 1 i had similar problems but not so unplayable extrem like in DOS2.

I dont have problems with any other of my games. I got a decent PC, got the latest drivers and so on. I think after the savegame hotfix some days ago my problems have gotten even worse.

Has someone the same problem and any tips for me?

Until Chapter 6 - Arx, i had no issues at all with application crashing, then i arrived to Arx... After two or three hours into Arx all my saves are corrupted, not one or two, but all the quick saves and auto saves, thankfully i have one manual save in Arx.

I tried with two different PCs, i even played Arx from the start then when i reach the same point of progress in chapter 6 all the saves break apart again.

I believe it has something to do with Arhu / Lord Linder Kemm questline, since the crash to desktop and my corrupted saves start when i reach this point.
