Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks Crafting certain skill books

I'm having an issue when trying to craft specific skill books.
In this case, I have a character with Necromancy, and I have both a blank Necromancy skill book, and the Bone Cage scroll. Sadly, this doesn't seem to do the trick.

If you look here, it lists the ingredients as one Bone Cage Scroll, and one "BOOK Skill Necromancy Blank A". This is in contrast to other recipes, where it simply says "Blank Necromancy Skillbook" (like, for example, Bloodsucker ).

Does this mean it requires a higher level of blank skill book, and the website just isn't displaying it properly? Is there a "High Quality Blank Necromancy Skill Book" item, or the equivalent?

There is a High Quality version, although I would have assumed bone cage would work with a generic book.

I am the one who maintains that page, I believe this is an error in the games XML. The recipe is in there, but the blank book to make it is not currently in the game.

Ah, thank you for the replies. I also just found a "High Tier Blank Witchcraft Book", which also doesn't combine with the Bone Cage scroll. In fact, I don't even get a 'Combine With' option for that one, I'm guessing since I don't have someone who started as a witch (though I do have someone who has both Scoundrel and Necromancy - it seems odd that I don't get the 'Combine' option, but maybe a certain level of each is needed for the 'High Level' books).

Either way though, Bone Cage is a regular old Necromancy spell - I'm stumped as to why a blank Necromancy skill book won't work with it, unless it requires a "High Level Necromancy Book", which I haven't found yet.
