This thread is amazing. A few years ago I went back to Skyrim and wrote backstories for characters I wanted to play. I gave them a history, phobias, flaws, desires, egos, etc. It was so much more fun to play (a lot was due to the flaws because min/maxing led to a boring game).
I just finished D:OS 2 and I've been thinking of trying to solo the game as an Mage-type (no invis/play dead cheese). This thread has inspired me to work up a character story for him or her
