While it does make wits are weird stat for the game to even have, I think I prefer this. It's atificial, but so is every initiate system, and I like not having to stack it just because going first is so OP. Or at least that's have it was in the D:OS 1. Maybe the armor system would change that and the "normal" way of doing it would be fine.


Even if the current system is "fine", they still need to fix the turn order issues which clearly aren't when your party members get completely skipped due to a boss either changing form, summoning adds or reinforcements just randomly appear. It acts like since the unit your character was connected with is either no longer in play, or changed forms (it's now a different unit), that grouping is no longer valid and so your character took their turn; even when they didn't.
