The shriekers on Nameless Isle is difficult to kill even when you are invisible or using the Chameleon skill. Source Vanpirism is for short distance. Any one on Nameless Island can recharge the wand?
It is possible with some cautious sneaking and careful positioning. I
assume that'll be the same deal for all difficulties, but I couldn't swear to it.
