Hello. My Root Template panel has suddenly become empty. The level loads and everything, but the folders and objects in this panel are gone. Only "Root Template" is there. Nothing happens when clicking the thing.

Sometimes I can get it to show by having Origins as a project dependency, but only the All folder is there. Everything else is gone.

Hate to ask, but do you have any filters enabled?

Hmm, I tried enabling / disabling the root template filters, but doesn't really add or subtract anything. Root Folder's still empty.

Hate to ask this, too, but did you click the Load button?

Just tried it. It refreshes, I think, but no real change in the content.

Did you reinstall? If so, that could be a problem.

Did you download the Data DLC? If not, that's definitely a problem.

Do you see the All folder under Root Templates? If yes, then expand that folder.



Sadly, I don't have any more thoughts about what could be happening right now.

Yep, DLC has been downloaded. I managed to get the All folder, but that's about it. I recall one time that there were more folders under the Root Template. I'm trying a reinstall now, hopefully that'll fix things. Thanks for the assist! Hopefully more info will turn up.

Did you figure it out? I'm having a similar issue where only the ALL folder appears. Used to have a lot.

Having strange issues just about with everything in the divinity engine at the moment. Effect editor wouldn't let me save or build a new effect until reloading the editor and file in question. Root templates GUIDs are missing from newly created roots for skillbooks, not allowing me to link the skillbook to the object stats. All sorts of trouble.

I got nothin', sadly. I'm just workin' off the All folder and taking advantage of the search bar.

Did you click the little spanner that only shows stuff you created ? its to the right of the search bar.

That will turn everything off except stuff you exported.
