I've never tested if it truly affects the contents of what's inside, but anecdotal preliminary results suggest that it doesn't impact it. The only thing I know for sure is, that using your weapon, if it has durability, will take a lot of damage fast. I think it's 1 swing equals to 1 durability loss. Most weapons only have 20 durability I think, so yeah... Weapon longevity is the only real concern.
I may very well be wrong. Someone please correct my findings if this is the case.
