I am wanting to recreate my D&D setting, the Kingdom of Deaegg, in Divinity. I figured the best way to do so was to create levels for each of the towns, cities, villages, landmarks, etc. which can be used in GM Mode. Along with these levels, I wanted to include all of the important NPCs that exist in my setting. To do so, should I add NPCs to the level in the Editor, or should I create NPCs to be added to the level within GM Mode during campaign preparation?

Depends on what you need to do...
GM mode will give you the basics in level preparation.

If you want to do more intricate stuff its probably best to lay the level and main characters out in the editor and then just use the GM mode for "Random Encounters" and the on the fly stuff that you drop in mid game.

If I add NPCs to the level in the level editor, are they able to be manipulated and controlled by someone in GM Mode?
