The Divinity Engine 2 has been unusable since I first attempted starting it up.

First it crashes on opening, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and DLC and editor.

Now it won't let me click on the "Eyes of a Child" window which lets you interact with the level you're trying to edit, continuously saying "CRITICAL ERROR."

Uninstall, reinstall, now it will let me click on the "Eyes of a child" window but it won't let me rotate the camera, use tools, or do anything other than select the terrain I have vision of.

The message log is constantly spammed with red text that doesn't let me know anything useful.

TextureAtlasIconPath and GameDataPath both point to C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\Data

I can't seem to get any response from support on this issue even though I submitted a ticket 3 days ago.

Any assistance at all would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you seem to be having technical difficulties.
Feel free to send us (personal pm to me would work) the log.txt file and possibly any .dmp files, that way we can see if we can figure out the reason for your crashes.

Those files are located next to the engine executable, which by default is at "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\The Divinity Engine 2"

I am having a similar problem, but only with the camera. I cannot rotate the camera - it will instead just flicker back and forth before re-centering on where it was when I started. I can pan and zoom smoothly, it is only the "look" that doesn't work in the Divinity Engine 2 editor. Any idea on why this may be the case?

Is this with a normal mouse where you're using the middle mouse button to rotate the camera?

That's correct. When I switch to game camera, it all works just fine. It is only in the editor camera that has the issue, which I find increasingly odd.

Roqman, can you open the editor preferences and check the settings and keybinds? Or post a screenshot of them? I'm not at my computer right now so can't cap mine. Perhaps there's some keybinds for camera navigation in the editor there that's become messed up?

These problems happened to me when I didn't have the Divinity Engine 2 Data DLC installed!

Zreks, I'm pretty sure I have the DLC installed, but I'll double check when I get home.

The Composer, I was not able to find any keybinding for rotating the camera (there are bindings for left/right/forward/backward, and "look" - middle mouse). I'll send a screenshot later today.

Screenshots of my config, as well as proof that I have the DLC, if that helps.
