Hello,
I was trying something with Lucky Charm:
- One of my character stay in the middle of a city
- One other go pick ALL lootable item in this city and send them into my first character inventory (without opening them)
When i got a lot, i save the game, i put them on the ground (the cursor on those lootable item is still gold color, they are not yet open) and then i drink alchool who give me +2 into lucky charm to finally open all !
What i have noticed from that ?
- I got only one proc of lucky charm.
- After relaod the game, i get the same proc in the same container with the same item
- After reload the game and open the container with another character (no luck charm) i still get the same item
I make then another test. In the first city before fighting Kniles (the crazy guy who love eating corps and stuff like that ^^) you have a chest who always give a blue/purple item.
- I have make a save just before entering in this area, when i realod it the item inside change.
- I have make a save after entering the area (far away from the chest) and the item inside is always the same when i reload this save
What i think ?
- Item content are generated when you enter in the area for the first time. This make sence because it can prevent people to reload the game if you dont like the loot, like you can do in DoS 1..
- Maybe the content is generated from the highter luck charm's score in your team, no matter who open the container after (because in my first experience in city, after reloading and open with another character i always get the lucky charm proc even if this character dont get any point).
If it is true, how make profit with it ?
- Before entering in a new area, you need to drink alchool because it give you +2 in lucky charm and then the area loot content will be generated from your buffed Lucky Charm score.
Maybe im wrong i have make only those few test but it sounds logic atm, if some people can give feedback or make some test it can help us to figure out how improve our loot chance ^^
