started checking out the modding tools, and I stumbled upon this strange creature called Osiris. as a standard C die hard, I was first alarmed.
but then i read some more. then i reread it again. and just for good measure i read it one more time. then i loaded up a trusty disassembler and took a look at the bowels of the beast. it's fairly majestic.
Who created Osiris? Why was Osiris created? What problems was it intended to fix? Did it fix those problems? Where can I find more technical details about the interpreter? Is Osiris Turing complete? Can I have your debug symbols?
Osiris is a one-footed, half-blind god-chicken, descending from the old days of Divine Divinity (2002), as they say (Tinkerer). It's a quite old god thus, sometimes a beast, sometimes a good friend, if propitiated and well fed.
Regarding technical details, it's uses an extended version of the Rete algorithm. While I have access to its source code, I haven't actually looked at the implementation though
