Currently doing a solo playthrough - have yet to have any problem I can't pass but have had to reload a few times against some of A1s harder fights.

I am almost done with fort joy and wanted help on a build since I will be able to respec soon. I like my build just not sure if it is ideal for a solo playthrough.

[list]
[*]7 points in warfare for damage, 2 points in necro so far for healing. It seems to work well.
[*]Currently level 6...
[*]All points into Strength so far. except 2 into wits.
[*]Using whatever gives me the most str/warfare/damage on my gear and whatever hits the hardest on my weapon slot.
[*]2 points into theivery and 2 points into persuasion. not sure if i did the right thing here
[*]all skilled up and lone wolf so far

is there a better solo build? any suggestions? I really like the raw power and damage I have!

Lone Wolf in itself is pretty broken, so there are many broken builds. Warfare is probably the easist of all builds. Summoner loses is gripe in the late game, because you can't boost the skill endlessly. Which is the strongest in the end game, I don't think anyone has really tested. It depends a lot on your items as well anyway I guess.

I'm almost done with the game with the similar build as yours. But you can't just survive in act 2 wirh Warfare and Necro alone. You'll need Scoundrel for Adrenaline and Cloak and Dagger, Hydro for Restoration and Armor of frost, Geo for Fortify and Huntsman for Tactical retreat. Also Poly for Skin graft, which combines well with adrenaline, and for Chameleon cloak. I also used Pyro for some damage against opponents that use evasion aura (at least one of them on Bloodmoon isle) and for Haste and Clear mind.

The beginning of act 2 was very tough for me, I couldn't have survived wirhout those skills. You should also put skills in thievery and try to steal as much gold as possible from every character you meet. This way you can upgrade your gear every level, which is the only way to stay viable against enemies. The alternative is lucky charm.

I actually did solo tactician as a Ranger and as a necro/warfare type. What I did every time was put a point in rogue, hidro, geo, poly, warfare just for some utility skills. Once you have a feel skills to move around and avoid being controlled, you are set to go.
