So, just beat the game, and figured it was worth noting a bit of a hiccup in the design of it. So we decided it sounded more fun to become divine, in case it gave us a final fight against more voidwoken or something. It put us in the arena, 1v1, we were both lone wolfs, and he killed me. He had uncanny evasion and I forgot that let him dodge hail storm. He won, chose to sacrifice his source, and we got sent to the lady vengeance for the final talk with the characters and the epilogue. While on the ship, I decided to get playful revenge, ate some source orbs, and hail stormed him.

This killed him, and then the issue happened. Apparently the game was still checking to see if one of us would kill each other, so it teleported us back to the crypt, and gave me the option of becoming the new divine and sacrificing my source. This allowed us to get both the Supreme Sacrifice and Risen achievements.

This is more of a silly note than anything, but it was worth noting that it didn't seem to work as intended.

Also, side note, the final fight was easy as heck on classic with two lone wolves.

Lone Wolf is broken in itself even more in Classic.

A friend of mine found this last part to be particularly buggy when we finished the game too. We did a hard save before the "final fight" against Lucian, Dallis, and Braccus, etc. so that we could see how it played out. Of course we knew all along (how could we not?) that we would ultimately get pitted against each other. Since you've taken the time to make the post, I'll add a couple things to it:

- Save files somehow mess with the dialogue options. Doing a quick save during, shortly before, or after the options to accept Divinity (or decline) sometimes results in getting permanently stuck in that dialogue. It gives each player the chance to make their choice, however once all of the choices are made, it still just says "waiting for others to make their choice" indefinitely. Reloading the game was the only way to fix it, which means doing the entire final battle(s) over again. At least the fights were fun :P

- We reloaded the game several times to experience the multiple outcomes. When I bested my buddy and arose to Divinity, after the cinematic and being put back on the Lady Vengeance, my buddy was the one with unlimited source for having followers, even though I killed him and ascended myself. Likewise, when he ascended, I was the one with the devotion and unlimited source. It's too bad there's nothing to do with all that source... but that's a different point. In any case, it gets the whole Divine thing mixed up with multiple player-controlled characters, or so it seems.

- The order in which enemies are killed in the final fights has no impact on the way the story plays out, which is understandable to some degree. Nonetheless, the first to fall between Lucian, Braccus, and Dallis initiates the next stage of battle, however Braccus always proceeds to do "his thing" regardless of who is downed first, and who goes down changes nothing in how the fight plays out mechanically. What I'm getting at here is that Braccus desires the power of everyone in that room - during the fight with Mordus, he will steal the source of any fallen character to transform into a more powerful being (Mord Akaim) - why would Braccus not take advantage of us beating down Lucian and Dallis first?

- Dominate / Control Voidwoken does **not** affect the Kraken. Much wow, so disappoint. That's kind of the only use for such a skill, considering how late in the game it is obtained.

That's the biggest let-down for me. Seriously, I haven't even had a single opportunity to use that skill until that fight! ... ... ... #@#)(*$()*!@$_^%_*(!&# whoever designed this @($&*!@#$*(!+)($!*@%*@*(%&!!!!!!!

...All buildup and no release. I won't recommend this to anyone.

UPD: Okay, I lied. I will recommend it. smile Just not strongly. Which is a shame. I like the game otherwise, but prolonged no-combat stretches and occasional specific enemies that don't follow their own rules are beyond frustrating.
