So you CAN become sworn even if you're not undead then..?

I was really optimistic that that would work, but I had no luck... I tried speaking to the voidwoken with Fane completely outside of my party, then I tried with him in the academy but at a distance from my party so not involved in the conversation. Either way I didn't get anything... :/


The conversation always has only one outcome no matter what I do. I can (1)'tell it the world doesnt belong to the void', and (2) 'ask why it calls me a thief'. (2) leads to nothing. No matter how I respond to its explanation of (1), even if I say I'm totally convinced, I get another dialogue branch where I basically can only tell it the void can never return, then next that I had nothing to do with its betrayal. The dialogue just ends after that. There's no point where I can even change the course of the conversation, so it can't be that I'm picking the wrong options. I can only assume my game is either bugged or there is something else I've not done right.
