I don't have much to add about that, it's perfectly articulated and represents my needs so I'll refrain to dilute the thread with my rambling
!
As for my *request*, even though I'm well aware of the status of current UI access we're given (ie: none), I'd really really really like that you at least give us access to a very simple/basic Custom panel, totally independant from the current UI and only used for modding purpose.
