I'm a 52 year old pc gamer, so I have been playing games since DOOM via DOS input, pre-Windows 95 stuff here.

Anyway, yeah, I agree with those points: too much nerfing going on for a SP/small co-op game; and though I wouldn't go quite as far as saying it requires micro-management it'd be nice to play it according to your preferences. One thing I liked about Oranges is that once you'd set up some rules for your party members they could pretty much be left to just get on with doing their thing.
