Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Tarquin still wont appear at graveyard after patch

Was the patch a while ago retroactive? Because Tarquin will still not appear at the graveyard. He just stands on the boat with the only dialogue option being to trade despite me never having gotten any quest from him. When I summon Malady she also seems to recognize he is on the boat, I don't get any prompt to go find Tarquin or anything.
If I load a save from like 30 hours ago when I first got to Reaper's Coast he is at the (southernmost) gate next to the bridge you can drop down though.
I've tried everything I can to advance the quest, even save edited the quest into my journal, but even with the quest I still cant hand the pieces into him.
Is it a lost cause? Should I just move on to the next act? Sucks to miss out on what seems like important story on my first playthrough.

I'm having this same issue. Ran into Tarquin outside the graveyard a few levels ago and accepted his quest. Then I realized I screwed up something else, reloaded, and played through a different order of quests without talking to Tarquin. I showed up at the graveyard expecting to find him to get the quest, and he's not there. He IS on the Lady Vengeance near the boat that takes you to shore, but only has trade dialogue. This quest needs a lot of help. :(
