I don't remember exactly what the error said in the error.txt file but it read something about LSFramework.
I ran a system restoration a bit ago, reverting my entire system to last weeks backup. The error in the editor is gone for now and the project settings button works again, although I do not know what caused the problem nor if it will come back.
I had already begun this system restore at the time you had posted fireundubh, but thank you for the suggestion. I will try that if the problem reoccurs.
Unfortunately I have lost my mod files and I will have to remake all of them, I suppose the situation could be worse but it sucks to lose a weeks work over a simple button issue.
I appreciate everyone who has responded/read about this and hope if someone else has a similar issue maybe one of the options mentioned above will help them.
