Yeah maybe your right since that building that had the doors in it blew up. How do you think he will learn to control his powers outside of the Matrix? I think he might become like he was in the Matrix, but in the real world.

she's got exams so I got to stick home a bit. but hey it's her final exams series so I don't mind, hopefully she'll make it without re-exams in august, but I have faith in it

so i stayed far away from this thread but i finally was able to get out and see the matrix. yay! my thoughts:
the fights ROCKED. sex scene was stupid, and very weirdly shot. too many close up kissy scenes. could have been left out, we already figured neo and trinity had been porking. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> and what was up when neo had to kiss that other girl? what in hell was the point of that? the ending could have been better, i knew it was going to be a cliffhanger but... i thought they would end it where neo was deciding which door to pick. guess they had to push it out a few minutes longer.

did anybody catch how the oracle said werewolves and ghosts and such were anomalys in the matrix, and then those guards had to be killed with silver bullets, and the twins were quite obviously ghosts. i liked that little touch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

i don't think i'd like it if neo got his 'powers' outside of the matrix. thats what made them plausible. every superhero has a source of his/her powers. what will the source be outside the matrix? besides, he won't look as cool fighting without his trenchcoat. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

i like the idea that agent smith passed something of himself into neo. but i don't understand how a computer program could pass something into a human.

They guy cutting his hand with the knife was the guy Smith overwrote in the matrix. He is effectively now a Smith too.

About all the weird sex stuff. Apparently Larry Wazkowlski, one of the writer directors is currently having an affair a bondage Mistress. His wife was heard to comment that she wouldnt have been surprised if he was wearing a bra and panties under his suit at the premier. I guess that explains any sexual oddness. Be nice if he left his freakoid fantasies out of the movie, I dont care what way he swings but they could have used that 5 minutes for a cool action sequence.

I didn't look into this post intentionally until I see the movie, so, this happened yesterday.

I think I need to go and see it second time, as lots of things left unresolved for me.
There was definitely sence in those Neo-Oracle, Neo-Construct conversations especially that - reason-consequences part.
Even more sence had that guy (rogue program?) with two ghost guards.

Everything has it's reason, and result. You do not have a choise, every action is predefined. When you free yourself from illusion of reality, as Neo did in Matrix, you become free to choose. You are not bound to reason-result ring anymore.
And if this is true to Matrix it is true to reality as :

remember Morpheus sayd this in first Matrix?

So, there is still no spoon. Neo is starting to undertand this.
-he knew they are coming and stopped them.

He forced the process of thinking to stop for a moment. But mind is resisting, Neo lived his whole life using his mind 24h. This was the reason he ended up in coma.

What I do not understand, is that software part.

What is the reason for killing Seons inhabitants and what for to reset/reload Matrix? To keep control, as the more ppl the more difficult to control them ?

And I missed the idea of those previous Chosen Ones. They couldn't break the rule/ring of reason-result? And those doors. Go there and 24 will survive, go here and everyone will die.

Who is this Architect-construct? Mad programmer, human, or maybe God, playing with his puppets, or is he AI of the mainframe (most likely)? Hmm, AI of the Matrix is mr. Smith, at least was until Neo destroyed him.

I was just wondering. Did anyone played the game yet?

'the chosen one' was just another control organism, I was planned they would figure out the matrix and try to stop it. So everytime someone figured the matrix out as neo did, they stopped the matrix and wrote a new, better one, and destroy Zion = those who allready know about the matrix. And start it all over again with a better version of the matrix, they'll do that untill nobody manages to figure it out and ther won't be any treath of revolts.

Still the architect-construct is in the matrix, Neo isn't giving a choice, whatever he choses, he won't win and a new matrix will be written. and Zion would had been eliminated. So the ones were to believe the matrix can't be beaten (from within).

Remember the first movie? The REAL kiss resurrected Neo and changed everything, mixing up reality and dreamworld. I guess the second kiss was a hint in that direction and they will bring up something more about it in the last movie.
