I don't know if this has already been suggested, but it would be nice if your controlled character could talk to Fane while he's shape shifted. It's rather tiresome if you see the exclamation mark above his head, you have to first revert him to his true self, then activate the controlled character again to have an actual talk with him. And then you have to revert him back because otherwise many people will attack on sight.
