Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Split screen instruments

I've been playing split screen, and while my partner (player 2) picked the bansuri, I (player 1) picked the chello. So far, we've escaped Fort Joy, and gotten into a few fights in the marshes, but I've noticed that we're only ever hearing the bansuri play, and never hearing the chello. Is this intended, does only the second player's instrument play in split screen?

With you using the cello, do you make the kills? The person who lands the killing blow has their instrument play.

That makes a lot of sense. We played again this weekend and I got some kills and noticed the music changing. I'm playing a tanky character and hadn't been killing anyone.
