I tried to save not long ago and got this error. This happened to me last night as well. I tried to save normally (last night it was a Quicksave) and I ended up getting these errors:

The first two are the same but that error appeared twice and I just took a picture of it anyway. I have the gog version of the game so I ran the Verify/Update option to see if anything was corrupted but it fixed nothing nor did it download anything new.

I got this from overwriting a save and saving it to something new. After that, all the options in the Main menu are greyed out, I can't even exit the game. In the game the Saving icon in the lower right just stays there forever. I have to close the game in Task Manager.

I just want to mention I use AVG for antivirus and I've never had issues with it prevent the game for deleting files or anything like that. Nothing has changed on that front.

Edit: After restarting I was able to save my game again, but now the preview picture is blank. Just shows a black screen. I checked the save folder and it's not creating one.
